About the Exhibition:

​

BoBa Art Gallery, in partnership with the MGA – Moga Gallery Art Club and NEFER PROD IMPEX, is pleased to announce the opening of "THE YOUNG AMONG THE GREAT" exhibition, now in its first edition. The event brings together in a shared space emerging artists – at the start of their journey or in full development – and established artists, showcasing works from the BoBa Art Gallery collection.

The exhibition features approximately 30 works created in 2025 as part of the MGA Club – coordinated by visual artist and engineer Andrei-Marian Moga. Participants come from diverse backgrounds and generations, ranging in age from 6 to 70+ years. For many of them, this represents their first public appearance, a moment of affirmation, confidence, and openness to new artistic opportunities.

The confrontation of styles, techniques, and experiences creates a vibrant visual dialogue: those at the beginning of their journey seek and assert their artistic voice, while established artists offer benchmarks, inspiration, and continuity.

Charity Event:

The exhibition also has an important social component: Contributions and donations collected will support the children at the "CRISTIAN ȘERBAN" Center – Buziaș, an institution dedicated to the evaluation, therapy, and recovery of children and young people.

At the opening of the exhibition, Robert Șerban – writer, journalist, editor, and television personality, and university lecturer Dr. Kelemen Gabriel, will speak, providing cultural and editorial context for the event.

Atmosphere & Surprises:

The opening will take place in a warm and festive setting, close to the holidays, complemented by interactive moments and surprises prepared for the guests.

Opening – The Young Among the Great – 1st Edition

Good evening everyone, I am Andrei Moga, and I sincerely thank you for joining us today for the first edition of "The Young Among the Great" exhibition.

Above all, this event is a meeting. A meeting between generations, between visions, between styles, between those who are just starting out and those who have already left deep marks on the world of art.

Before you stand the works created within the MGA – Moga Gallery Art Club, over a whole year of searching, practice, attempts, successes, and emotions. We have artists aged 6 and artists aged 70+. We have different sensibilities, different rhythms, different life stories. And this very diversity is the beauty of art – the fact that there is no "too early" or "too late" to create. There is only desire. Desire and sincerity.

For some of those exhibiting today, this may be their first step into the light. The first time they see their work in a professional space, in a real gallery, in dialogue with the public. For others, it is one more confirmation that art never stops transforming us.

And I believe that each of these works carries a whisper, a question, a joy, or a concern. Here, we are not just exhibiting paintings – we are exhibiting fragments from the inner world of those who created them.

We thank our host, BoBa Art Gallery, for their openness and collaboration. We thank our partners, NEFERPROD, for their support and trust. And, most importantly, we thank every artist present. You are the proof that the beauty of the world is still alive.

This event also has a charitable purpose – the contributions made today will support the children at the "Cristian Șerban" Center in Buziaș. It is important that art, beyond aesthetics, remains an act of humanity. Of giving. Of empathy, and about the Center, the manager, Mr. Serban, will speak to us. Because when art touches the soul, it can heal.

I invite you to view the works with patience, with an open heart. To talk with the artists, to ask questions, to discover, to allow yourselves to be inspired. And I would like to conclude with a phrase attributed to Brâncuși – a truth that we all feel here tonight: "True art is where no one looks for it."

I invite you, therefore, to enjoy these works, which are also available, to feel their energy, and perhaps, to find yourselves, for a moment, among the great. I bow, workshop coordinator, Andrei Moga!

MGA – Moga Gallery Art

Founded in 2016 in Timișoara, the MGA – Moga Gallery Art club represents an open space for visual creation for everyone – children, youth, and adults – in a friendly and inspired atmosphere. We offer workshops in canvas painting, graphic arts, design, and artistic architecture, coordinated by the visual artist and engineer Andrei-Marian Moga.

Established to meet the needs of children and young people with metabolic, hematological, and chronic conditions, the "Cristian Șerban" Medical Center in Buziaș is a public reference institution in Romania.

With a capacity of approximately 50 beds, the center offers integrated services of rigorous clinical evaluation, specialized therapy, specific medical education, and recovery for patients with Type 1 diabetes mellitus, hemophilia, and other chronic pathologies.

Its mission is twofold:

To alleviate the suffering of children and young people in medical difficulty through professional treatment and support.

To provide education and autonomy to patients and their families for the most efficient long-term management of the disease.

The Center operates in a modern setting, in wards with 2–3 beds, on admission series and with multidisciplinary staff: specialist doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, medical educators. Furthermore, it is recognized as a free unit for beneficiaries, making it essential support for families with limited resources.

Through the continuous involvement of the foundation that bears its name, the center has become a symbol of excellence and empathy – a place where the "experience of suffering" has generated an act of generosity and social responsibility.
